Origami No. 3

The study model was made with paper origami. Specifically the origami was made by following the first few steps of making a lotus origami till near the end wherein the petals are folded.

The shape is translated by adopting its form, including its folds, with a leather cushion for comfort and durability.

The origami study model served as the main inspiration for this furniture. The study model is translated into an ottoman chair or a stool.

Design improvements were adapted as well without ruining the form an idea of the ottoman chair.
